Anyway, last night there was a private cocktail thingy on Vijay Mallya's boat but it wasn't like Monaco where 2,000 are allowed on. I gather there were 100 but once I got there it was basically just Vijay and I. I suppose he doesn't want to be too ostentatious at a time when, seemingly, the team are having some problems paying their bills. Meanwhile, I'm denying the recession one gin palace at a time!
